Presently, Dr. Akhtar serves as a Senior Consultant and Head of Department of Respiratory Medicine at St. Stephen’s Hospital, Tis Hazari where his working hours are between 9 am to 4 pm. Alternatively, he also can be consulted at Life Line Clinic, Delhi in the evening hours.
